Blog Layout

Every blog has its unique layout, designed to enhance user experience and engagement. Some use templates while others go rogue. Whether there are several columns or many rows the goal is to capture the reader visually at first. It is after all the the content matter that brought the reader to the blog. What happens next?

Ads Placement Strategy

Interestingly, the layout also includes advertising sections that are strategically placed around the blog’s content. This is optional and not always on the blogs. How, though, does the blog survive without ad placements and/or links? Typically, advertisements are found at the between paragraphs (yet, that is irritating to the reader) and may appear to the left, right top and bottom of the blog page. The goal remains with placement is to aim for maximize visibility and engagement with the ads without disrupting the flow of reading the blog posts.

Logos and Footer Links

Every blog page typically provides clear branding and navigational convenience through logos and well-organized footer sections. For instance, the logo is invariably located at the top right corner, while another brand logo might occupy the top left. At the bottom of each page, a footer containing links is consistently presented, structured in three columns with three rows. This layout allows users easy access to select categories or additional information across all pages of the blog. Tradition dictates the menu and/or navigation links at the top. Let’s think outside the box or should we say outside the blog?
